- 3/17/12 ~ William Ennis’s Birthday Celebration – Town of Ennis
The mayor has made the proclamation and March 17th is officially declared “William Ennis Day.” The Madison Valley History Association invites all businesses and citizens to help celebrate the birthday of the founder of our town.
- 3/17/12 ~ Irish Stew Dinner – Ennis Fire Hall
The Madison Valley History Association will be hosting the 4th Annual William Ennis Irish Stew Dinner on St. Patrick’s Day in honor of our founding father’s birthday. The Town of Ennis has declared this date to be William Ennis Day and all are encouraged to attend the dinner to help celebrate. Dinner comes complete with Irish Beef Stew, Irish Soda Bread, Blarney Stones and Birthday Cake served at the Ennis Fire Hall from 5-8 pm. Cost: $10/person or $25/family(kids under 12).

Awards will take place at 1:30 pm. so participants can enjoy the Rodeo or go on a cruise with the gang. Entrants can show cars, trucks, motorcycles or any other motorized wonder. Now in its 27th year, the Ennis Hunters Feed is held every year on the Friday before rifle season opens and welcomes hunters, families, friends and food enthusiasts. Chefs of all abilities offer up their best and most creative wild game dishes for all to vote upon on Main Street. Prizes are awarded for Best Chili, Best Non-Chili and Most Unusual with the coveted trophy going to the Best Overall entry (Madison Foods won last year).
